A Jesus Movement

2011 begins as a new decade of faith, hope, love, connection, and justice. We are part of a Jesus Movement. At Redeemer's Church, all we want is more people to meet Jesus and experience his grace. It's not about politics or power, trends or trivia. It's all about Jesus.

All People Matter

Status quo is not our thing. We want to share the gospel in fresh, new ways. We want to share in God's word and in deed. We seek to impact human need and value others. At the center of everything is Jesus and his word. Gospel-centered preaching and theology anchor who we are. Not only does the message unify our local church, but it also influences the global church. We strive to leave a legacy of teaching that will last for generations to come. It doesn't matter where you come from, who you are, what you've been through or what you've done.

What if we were to see the unlimited potential of people who have never heard of Christ’s message of salvation, hope, and freedom.  What if we were to establish new locations of Redeemer’s Church in Sanger, Selma, Dinuba, Parlier, Orosi, Orange Cove, Kingsburg, Del Rey and more locally and globally. 

What if thousands of more children were touched through When I Grow Up? What if we loved and honored them in a way they haven’t experienced. We nurture them with not only the essentials of love, food, and education. But invest for the long term in leadership, empowerment, and friendship. Why…. The reason is simple. Love makes us do it.

The Mission

Following Jesus' example as a spirit-led missionary, we want to see Christ followers everywhere embrace their role as missionaries to their communities. Here are some of our new core values:

-Launching a Jesus Movement, not a church growth program. This will see us accelerate a greater Christ-centered DNA.

-Recognizing the cultural diversity of our communities and challenging the reality that most churches remain mono-cultural, we will strive to hold a defining multicultural DNA.

-Any movement that is about Jesus is a movement that will involve not only engaging with a person's sin, but will involve engaging with the effects of sin in our society. Social justice is a key feature in expanding the Kingdom of God.

-The scale of our vision requires an even greater reliance on the power and the presence of God. Over the last 7 years we have witnessed God transform many lives. Over the next 10 years we seek an even greater manifestation of His power as we hunger for a dynamic moving of Christ and His Gospel to transform not only more lives but communities.

A Jesus Movement is a Holy Spirit Movement.
